Preschool Class

Location: Preschool Room (in south hallway)
People Who Tell God's Salvation Story is the emphasis for the children's
curriculum for 2003-2004. Throughout the church school year children will
be introduced to major personalities of the Old and New Testaments.
K-2nd Grade Class
Teachers:

Location: Upper room on right in church office
building.
This class uses the One Room Sunday School curriculum. Students will
grow together through comprehensive Bible study, application of Bible
lessons to everyday discipleship, and a variety of age-appropriate
activities.
3rd-5th Grade Class

Lucinda Wood & Susan Province
Location: Upper room on left in church office building
The Year 1 theme of the three-year scope and sequence of biblical
narratives is People Who Tell God's Salvation Story. The Year 2 theme is
Sin and Redemption, and the Year 3 theme is Law, Grace, and Wisdom.
Jr.
/Sr. High Class (6th-12th Grade)
Teachers:

Location: Lower level in church office
building
The Jr. and Sr. High class uses the weekly bible study
"Faith Lens". Faith Lens is a bible study/discussion for youth linking a
current news story and scripture texts. This study follows the common
lectionary, using the scripture lessons for the upcoming Sunday.
At 10:15am all children from
preschool to 5th meet for a closing time including singing, an
offering, and announcements.

Adult Education
Old-Kitchen Class
Teacher: Mary Anna Townsend
Location: 3rd floor of main church building
Adults in this class study the lectionary compatible curriculum of the
Presbyterian Church (USA) which elaborates scriptural texts, church
confessions and denominational positions, and rituals and daily practices
for personal worship.

Brown-Bag Bible Study

This group meets on Fridays at noon.
Kerygma Bible Study
Teacher: Rev. Melissa Bowers
Location: Sterling Parlor
Sunday evenings -
6:30pm Dessert,
7-8:30pm Class.
We’ll cover topics like how did the Bible come to be; general Old and New
Testament themes; how the Bible has been preserved and handed on; and
we’ll discuss what the place of the Bible is for us today.
Tuesday
Discussion Group
Tuesday's, at 2:30 pm in Sterling Parlor. We’ll be
reading and discussing the book
Inner Christianity by Richard Smoley. Copies
are available in the Fellowship Hall.
Women’s Circles
